Privacy Policy

Ailly is made by Dreamwake Labs LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer in plain language.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive whatever that service passes to us, which is typically your name and an email address. Apple's Hide My Email is supported, and if you use it we only ever see the relay address.

What you write in the app. Your assessment answers, plans, goals, chats with Ailly, business details, and anything else you type or dictate. This is the content that makes your recommendations yours.

Purchase information. If you subscribe or buy a one-time unlock, Apple processes the payment and we never see your card. We do store the transaction identifier Apple gives us, along with which product you bought and when it renews or expires, so we know what your account has access to.

Usage and diagnostics. We collect basic product analytics (which screens and features get used) and crash and performance reports. Both are tied to your account, because knowing which account hit a crash is what lets us actually fix it for you. We use these to repair what is broken and to understand which parts of Ailly genuinely help.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or health data.

How we use your information

To create your plan and your daily practice, to answer what you ask Ailly, to keep your progress across devices, to know which features your account has unlocked, to email you about your account, and to find and fix problems.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Ailly contains no advertising and no ad SDKs.

AI and your content

What you write is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can generate your plans, lessons, and answers. Anthropic processes it to return a response to you and does not use it to train their models. We do not use your content to train any model either.

If you dictate an answer instead of typing it, iOS handles the speech-to-text on your device or through Apple's speech recognition, under Apple's privacy policy. We receive only the resulting text.

Third-party services

Firebase (Google) for sign-in, database, cloud functions, analytics, and crash reporting. Anthropic's Claude API for AI generation. Apple for sign-in and for all purchases and subscriptions. Resend for account email. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

Enterprise interview data

When your company runs an Ailly Enterprise program, your interview answers are stored encrypted and scoped to your company. Leadership sees readiness levels, tiers, and opportunities, never your word-for-word personal answers. Company data is never used to train models or shared with other customers, and is fully deleted on request.

Data retention

Your account data and saved plans are kept until you delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and everything attached to it at any time from Profile, then Privacy and Legal, then Delete Account. Deletion removes your sign-in account and your server data. Aggregate counts that cannot identify you, and records we are required to keep for tax or accounting, may remain.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your account is protected by Firebase Authentication. Ailly never asks you for AI provider keys; every AI request runs through our backend, so no such keys are ever stored on your device.

Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. If you use Ailly from outside the US, your information is transferred and processed there.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time from in-app Settings, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your local regulator. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. Contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Children's privacy

Ailly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top of this page, and significant changes will be surfaced in the app.
